An exciting opportunity awaits skilled School Psychologists in the vibrant Phoenix area. This contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, providing vital support to students across multiple campuses. Assignments will vary, including both full-time and part-time schedules, and are based on school needs—allowing for a dynamic professional experience. Candidates have the potential to work at elementary and high school levels, with caseloads averaging around 60 students and an estimated 12 evaluations per day.

You’ll use your expertise to deliver direct psychological services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help create positive educational environments for students ranging from elementary to high school. Flexibility, adaptability, and autonomy are key as the district is seeking self-starters who can integrate smoothly and make an immediate impact.

Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Department of Education Certification required
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Demonstrated experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings
  • Comfortable managing caseloads of approximately 60 students
  • Experience or familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy student information systems highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to conduct pen-and-paper evaluations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently from the start of the contract

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for special education eligibility
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress and interventions
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records using district platforms
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
