A contract position is available for a dedicated School Psychologist looking to make a difference in the lives of elementary students, ranging from PreK through 8th grade, within a part-time schedule. Located near Phoenix, AZ, this role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning July 27, 2026, and concluding May 20, 2027, with working hours from 7:30am to 2:40pm and a weekly commitment of 20-25 hours.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification and state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with PreK-8th grade students strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of special education processes and multidisciplinary team practices
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting referral, evaluation, IEP development, and program placement decisions for special education services
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for referred students
  • Interpret results and communicate findings to inform educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement appropriate interventions and supports
  • Assist in monitoring students’ progress and adjusting strategies as needed to promote their educational and emotional well-being
