Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure required.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong understanding of educational assessments, behavioral intervention strategies, and mental health supports in schools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs across different grade levels.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed.
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to design effective interventions and support systems.
  • Offer staff training and participate in school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with school policies and professional standards.
