Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, behavioral interventions, and response-to-intervention frameworks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer direct and consultative services to support student social-emotional well-being
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Facilitate workshops and trainings on topics such as bullying prevention, behavior management, and mental wellness
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
