School Psychologist | Pierce, Nebraska

Make a genuine impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being by serving as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. In this full-time contract role, you’ll deliver crucial support across a district, working closely with children, families, and an engaged educational team. Your expertise will inform the special education eligibility process, shape intervention strategies, and provide valuable consultation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to support student referrals
• Collaborate as a member of Multidisciplinary Teams to determine special education eligibility
• Interpret assessment data to inform and participate in IEP development
• Provide recommendations for behavioral intervention plans and tailored learning programs
• Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff on student needs and progress
• Offer guidance on learning styles, academic challenges, and behavioral concerns
• Facilitate collaboration with outside agencies and medical providers to support students holistically
• Support crisis intervention program development and implementation
• Deliver individual training, support, and consultation to students, families, and staff
• Remain compliant with state and federal special education regulations
• Pursue professional development and contribute to ongoing departmental growth
• Attend meetings and fulfill related duties as needed by district leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctorate in School Psychology
• Valid (or eligible) Nebraska Special Services Certificate
• School Psychology Endorsement for Nebraska or eligibility via reciprocity
• Deep understanding of IDEA, special education eligibility, and IEP procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency in psychoeducational assessments and professional report writing
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
