You’ll collaborate as a core member of the Child Study Team, working with approximately 40 students in grades 6-8. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, allowing you to maintain balance and consistency throughout the assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid NJ School Psychologist certification required
- Experience in school psychology, particularly with middle school students
- Strong understanding of child development, assessment, and educational planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, counseling, and eligibility determination
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations
- Work closely with the Child Study Team to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans and behavior strategies
