Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in conducting a range of evaluations and assessments
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
  • Familiarity with counseling techniques for children and adolescents is preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and administer comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success
  • Prepare detailed psychological reports and communicate findings with educational teams and families
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expertise to develop personalized student support plans
  • Provide direct counseling services to students as needed, fostering well-being and resilience
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines
