Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • NY State School Psychologist Certification required
  • Demonstrated experience conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Skilled in implementing MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
  • Proficient in counseling, psychological testing, and data-driven decision making
  • Experience working with a K-12 caseload
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued, though not required
  • Availability for a full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Commitment to delivering services onsite only

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for initial and triennial evaluations
  • Participate actively in the MTSS process and support intervention development
  • Offer individual and group counseling services to foster positive student outcomes
  • Provide expertise in eligibility determinations, IEP planning, and re-evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Deliver consultation and training to school staff on behavioral and academic interventions
  • Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations
