School Psychologist | Pittsford, New York

This role begins August 26, with students arriving September 2, and wraps up on June 24. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff, fostering an environment where every student can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s degree in Psychology
• Experience working with students in grades 6-12 preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results effectively
• Familiarity with IEPs, PPT meetings, and special education processes

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic examinations to support student growth
• Providing direct therapy and counseling services to students as determined by individual needs
• Participating in PPT meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive action plans
• Maintaining accurate, confidential records and documentation for each case
• Consulting with families, teachers, and administrators about student progress and interventions
