Your expertise will foster students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being as you provide vital psychological services and support within the school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid New York State Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology required
  • Solid understanding of childhood development and the learning process
  • Proficiency in diagnostic assessment and interpretation
  • Experience utilizing Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths
  • Design, implement, and assess interventions to support student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive outcomes and an inclusive school climate
  • Provide consultation and crisis support as needed across various age groups
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and share progress insights
