Key Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Previous experience in educational settings providing psychological assessments and support
• In-depth understanding of MTSS/RTI, IEPs, and 504 plans
• Proficiency in conducting cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit strong ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations utilizing a range of assessment tools
• Assist in the identification and development of appropriate interventions for students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss findings, develop IEPs, and create supportive educational plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to address student concerns such as behavior management, coping skills, and crisis intervention
• Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure coordinated care and support
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines
• Promote positive school climate through prevention programs, staff trainings, and resource development
