Exciting opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from early childhood up through eighth grade. These contract roles serve multiple districts as part of a co-op setting, supporting diverse learners with cross-categorical caseloads. With two full-time positions open, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster academic, behavioral, and emotional wellbeing in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois
- Previous experience serving a cross-categorical population across early childhood through middle school preferred
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI, IEP processes, and data-driven assessment tools
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting multiple sites or districts and willingness to travel between locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students in early childhood through 8th grade
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and supports
- Participate in special education eligibility meetings, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
- Deliver direct and consultative support to students with diverse needs in a cross-categorical setting
- Promote positive behavioral supports and social-emotional learning initiatives
- Travel between assigned schools within the cooperative’s designated districts
