A licensed School Psychologist is needed for a full-time, onsite contract position, serving a diverse group of young learners throughout the remainder of the school year. This engaging opportunity runs from ASAP through late May, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM and a manageable caseload of 35–45 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active School Psychologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Ability to provide documentation of licensure
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services as needed
- Participate in problem-solving teams and support positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
