School Psychologist in Plainfield, IL

A licensed School Psychologist is needed for a full-time, onsite contract position, serving a diverse group of young learners throughout the remainder of the school year. This engaging opportunity runs from ASAP through late May, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM and a manageable caseload of 35–45 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active School Psychologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Ability to provide documentation of licensure
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services as needed
• Participate in problem-solving teams and support positive behavioral interventions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
