Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state regulations)
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience providing assessments, counseling, and consultative services in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for students, as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to design individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations on student progress and support strategies
  • Deliver crisis intervention and develop preventive mental health programs within the school environment
  • Support efforts to improve student behavior, engagement, and achievement
