This position is conveniently located near Plano and involves working in an itinerant capacity with a dedicated team of professionals. You’ll focus exclusively on assessments, allowing the on-site counseling team to handle ongoing therapeutic needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid School Psychologist license for Texas
  • Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Familiarity with elementary age populations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Prior work in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple campus locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete 3–4 evaluations per week for elementary-aged students, adhering to ethical and professional standards
  • Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations to support student growth and success
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including educators and counselors—to address student needs effectively
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage positively with families and staff to explain assessment results and implications
  • Travel across designated sites as needed for onsite assessments
