Position Details

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week)
  • Onsite Only
  • Assignment Dates: ASAP – May 22, 2027
  • Location: Plano, TX
  • Positions Available: 1
  • Interview Process: Virtual
  • Travel Required: Approximately 3–4 campuses

Responsibilities

  • Attend Student Support Team (SST) meetings
  • Obtain informed consent for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Serve as the case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to present evaluation findings
  • Collaborate with special education staff, administrators, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state and district timelines
  • Travel between assigned campuses to provide psychological services

Qualifications

  • Active Texas School Psychologist license (LSSP)
  • Recent school-based experience required
  • Experience conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility and evaluation procedures
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between campuses
  • Ability to manage multiple evaluations and deadlines simultaneously
