Your expertise as a School Psychologist will be instrumental in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes for elementary students. You’ll play a key role in assessments, consultation, and the development of interventions designed to help students reach their potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field (required)
  • Valid and current School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Massachusetts
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and RTI/MTSS frameworks
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for intervention planning
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings for special education services
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and behavioral concerns
  • Deliver professional development to staff as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state policies
