Your expertise as a School Psychologist will be instrumental in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes for elementary students. You’ll play a key role in assessments, consultation, and the development of interventions designed to help students reach their potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field (required)
- Valid and current School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Massachusetts
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Proficiency in conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for intervention planning
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings for special education services
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and behavioral concerns
- Deliver professional development to staff as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state policies
