Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations, assessments, and interventions in K-12 settings
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for special education and Section 504
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Previous participation in IEP and eligibility meetings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments to support student academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Participate in and contribute expertise during IEP, eligibility, and intervention meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral or psychological challenges
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Assist in crisis situations and offer crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
