Step into a dynamic school setting supporting both elementary and middle school students as a skilled School Psychologist. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through mid-June, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact alongside a dedicated staff.

Two positions are available, working with diverse caseloads primarily focused on psychoeducational evaluations. Each school psychologist can expect variable caseloads, typically encompassing around 70 evaluations along with a counseling roster. In addition to conducting evaluations, responsibilities include participating actively in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings, IEP meetings, and 504 meetings, as well as providing direct counseling services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations for elementary and middle school students
  • Provide direct counseling interventions as needed
  • Attend and contribute to MTSS, IEP, and 504 plan meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and parents to support each student’s academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in line with district and state guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current MSDE School Psychologist certification
  • Experience in school-based psychoeducational assessments
  • Comfort working with a caseload that includes both evaluations and ongoing counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying student needs and manage multiple priorities

Key Details:

  • Contract position through June 12 (tentative end date)
  • Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
  • Monday–Friday: Elementary (8:15–3:45), Secondary (7:30–3:00)
  • Primarily in-person assignments (preference given to on-site availability)
  • Laptops and necessary technology provided by the district or school
