Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Commitment to diversity and ability to build rapport with students from varied backgrounds
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver group and individual counseling for students to address emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
- Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to promote strategies that support student success
- Lead crisis intervention and provide immediate support as needed
- Advocate for students’ needs and promote positive mental health practices within the school community
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
