Requirements for Success:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current School Psychologist certification for the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain
- Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred, though not required for strong new graduates
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and student support plans
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral and academic support to students, staff, and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate findings and recommendations
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students
- Offer expertise in crisis intervention and consultation on mental health issues in the school setting
