Requirements for Success:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current School Psychologist certification for the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain
• Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention techniques
• Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred, though not required for strong new graduates
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
• Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and student support plans
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral and academic support to students, staff, and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate findings and recommendations
• Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students
• Offer expertise in crisis intervention and consultation on mental health issues in the school setting
