Make a significant difference in the lives of students as a full-time School Psychologist serving campuses along the beautiful Southeast Florida Coast. This rewarding contract position invites you to support a diverse Pre-K through 8th grade caseload in a vibrant school community. You'll provide direct, in-person psychological services across three schools, working on site to engage with students, staff, and families in a collaborative environment dedicated to fostering student well-being and success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
- Participate actively in team meetings, including IEP and eligibility reviews
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop tailored intervention strategies
- Serve as a key resource for social-emotional and behavioral support
- Help lead crisis prevention and intervention initiatives
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Psychologist Licensure (required)
- Able to start credentialing promptly; existing DOH fingerprints may be accepted for a streamlined process
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Committed to supporting Pre-K through 8th grade students’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Flexible and adaptable in a multi-campus role
This position offers a steady weekday schedule, working Monday to Friday, 7 hours each day, for a total of 35 hours per week throughout the academic year. With a district known for moving quickly on interviews and offers, you’ll have the opportunity to begin making an impact right away.
