School Psychologist - Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Make a significant difference in the lives of students as a full-time School Psychologist serving campuses along the beautiful Southeast Florida Coast. This rewarding contract position invites you to support a diverse Pre-K through 8th grade caseload in a vibrant school community. You'll provide direct, in-person psychological services across three schools, working on site to engage with students, staff, and families in a collaborative environment dedicated to fostering student well-being and success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments
• Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
• Participate actively in team meetings, including IEP and eligibility reviews
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop tailored intervention strategies
• Serve as a key resource for social-emotional and behavioral support
• Help lead crisis prevention and intervention initiatives
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Psychologist Licensure (required)
• Able to start credentialing promptly; existing DOH fingerprints may be accepted for a streamlined process
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Committed to supporting Pre-K through 8th grade students’ academic, emotional, and social development
• Flexible and adaptable in a multi-campus role
