Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure and credentialing as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or training in psychological assessment, counseling, and behavioral interventions in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with students, families, and staff
  • Familiarity with the unique academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students across kindergarten through twelfth grade
  • Comfort working both independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in educational and counseling practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and interventions to students to address academic and behavioral concerns
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Participate actively in student success and response-to-intervention initiatives
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Engage in consultations to help staff and families implement effective learning strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
