Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure and credentialing as a School Psychologist
- Experience or training in psychological assessment, counseling, and behavioral interventions in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with the unique academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students across kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Comfort working both independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in educational and counseling practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to students to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in student success and response-to-intervention initiatives
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Engage in consultations to help staff and families implement effective learning strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
