Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Maine
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Strong understanding of IEP process and multi-disciplinary team involvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans and programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights for educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with state and district requirements
- Engage in crisis intervention and prevention when necessary
