Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Maine
  • Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience in psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and multi-disciplinary team involvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans and programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights for educational planning
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Engage in crisis intervention and prevention when necessary
