This contract opportunity requires a professional skilled in providing comprehensive psychological services and special education evaluations for students from preschool through 12th grade. Your expertise will make a direct impact as you collaborate onsite with a multidisciplinary team to identify learning needs and support both staff and families.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology
  • Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting special education evaluations for a broad age range
  • Strong understanding of special education regulations, compliance, and reporting
  • Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and educational staff
  • Flexibility to adjust role responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for students from preschool through high school
  • Deliver direct psychological services and consult with school teams
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ensure evaluations and documentation comply with federal and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of support strategies
  • Remain onsite throughout the assignment to deliver consistent support and continuity of services
