Requirements:
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology
- Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting special education evaluations for a broad age range
- Strong understanding of special education regulations, compliance, and reporting
- Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and educational staff
- Flexibility to adjust role responsibilities as needed
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for students from preschool through high school
- Deliver direct psychological services and consult with school teams
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ensure evaluations and documentation comply with federal and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of support strategies
- Remain onsite throughout the assignment to deliver consistent support and continuity of services
