Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Skilled in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Behavior Support Plan (BSP) development and facilitation
- Proficient in conducting Special Education (Sped) Eligibility Assessments
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate MTSS processes to support struggling learners
- Lead and conduct FBAs and BSPs, collaborating with educators, families, and staff to ensure effective behavioral interventions
- Complete comprehensive Sped Eligibility Assessments in compliance with local and state regulations
- Deliver some direct services to students, providing individual or group interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student academic and behavioral success
- Contribute to team meetings and document all required evaluation and intervention processes thoroughly
