Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of school psychology principles and best practices
  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Experience conducting a range of assessments, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments
  • Skill in developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students at various stages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, faculty, and families
  • Comfort working district-wide or specializing in a preferred grade range

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments for students K-12
  • Participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and fellow psychologists
  • Deliver consultation and recommendations to support student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing social-emotional support
  • Maintain thorough, organized documentation and adherence to district and legal guidelines
