Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Comprehensive understanding of school psychology principles and best practices
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience conducting a range of assessments, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students at various stages
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, faculty, and families
- Comfort working district-wide or specializing in a preferred grade range
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments for students K-12
- Participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and fellow psychologists
- Deliver consultation and recommendations to support student success
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing social-emotional support
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation and adherence to district and legal guidelines
