In this role, you’ll function as a Psych/Behavior Consultant, performing standard psychological assessments, in-class monitoring, and designing personalized behavioral and academic support plans to help students and staff thrive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering and interpreting comprehensive psychological evaluations
  • Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborating during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and supporting the development of tailored education plans
  • Advising and consulting with teachers and staff to enhance academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support strategies
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions across general and special education environments
  • Supporting crisis intervention strategies and contributing to a positive, safe school climate
  • Utilizing data-driven practices to monitor student progress and guide decision-making

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology
  • Valid New York School Psychologist Certification
  • Previous experience in K–12 school environments is highly valued
  • Strong skills in assessment, communication, collaboration, and providing practical consultation
