In this role, you’ll function as a Psych/Behavior Consultant, performing standard psychological assessments, in-class monitoring, and designing personalized behavioral and academic support plans to help students and staff thrive.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering and interpreting comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborating during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and supporting the development of tailored education plans
- Advising and consulting with teachers and staff to enhance academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support strategies
- Implementing evidence-based interventions across general and special education environments
- Supporting crisis intervention strategies and contributing to a positive, safe school climate
- Utilizing data-driven practices to monitor student progress and guide decision-making
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- Valid New York School Psychologist Certification
- Previous experience in K–12 school environments is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, communication, collaboration, and providing practical consultation
