School Psychologist in Pottstown, PA

Step into an impactful opportunity this January as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to elementary students on a full-time contract basis for 12 weeks. Surrounding Lansdale, PA, this position covers a leave and offers a flexible hybrid model—three days onsite and two days virtually each week. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated school team, with Mondays required in-person to actively participate in MTSS initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid PDE School Psychologist certification required
• Experience within elementary school settings highly preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
• Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
• Ability to thrive in both in-person and virtual environments
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments to support learning and behavioral needs
• Develop intervention strategies in conjunction with teachers, staff, and families
• Provide direct and indirect counseling and consultative services
• Participate fully in MTSS processes and team meetings (Mondays on-site)
• Offer crisis intervention and collaborate on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and confidential data in compliance with district and state regulations
• Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging school climate
