Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI processes and special education law
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and data-driven decision making
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing timely and thorough psychological evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Collaborating closely with school staff to design student intervention plans
- Providing consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and caregivers
- Facilitating small group or individual sessions for students requiring additional support
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Promoting a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students
