Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI processes and special education law
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and data-driven decision making

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing timely and thorough psychological evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
  • Participating in IEP and 504 meetings, offering insights and recommendations
  • Collaborating closely with school staff to design student intervention plans
  • Providing consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and caregivers
  • Facilitating small group or individual sessions for students requiring additional support
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students
