This exciting full-time, contract opportunity allows a dedicated school psychologist to make a meaningful impact across two engaging campuses—serving both Midcity (K-5) and Materra (K-11) in the thriving Baton Rouge area.
As a key contributor to student success, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators, providing critical support through evaluations and interventions that foster a positive learning environment for all ages. With a diverse caseload of roughly 50 evaluations across both campuses, your day-to-day will be both dynamic and rewarding.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist in Louisiana
- Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports for K-12 populations
- Strong background in implementing research-based interventions and counseling strategies
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across grade levels
- Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and student advocacy
- Ability to split time between two campuses with professionalism and organization
What You’ll Do:
- Lead psychological and educational evaluations to determine students’ needs and eligibility for special services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct services, including counseling and consultation for students in need
- Serve as an expert resource for staff and families regarding mental health and academic strategies
- Participate in problem-solving and intervention teams
