School Psychologist - Prattville, Alabama

Step into a valued role supporting K-7th grade students as a part-time Psychometrist. In this contract opportunity, you’ll use your expertise as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist to directly make an impact within a welcoming educational environment. With the flexibility to create your own schedule—ideally pulling students during PE periods—you will help assess and support the development and learning needs of children.

This position offers approximately 20-30 hours per month, providing ample professional engagement while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. You’ll currently be working with a small caseload of 2 students, with potential adjustments as needs evolve.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certification or experience as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist
• Familiarity with assessment tools for children in grades K-7
• Ability to interpret data and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Previous experience working in educational settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for assigned students
• Prepare clear, concise written reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding testing schedules
• Adapt your schedule to allow students to be pulled out during PE, minimizing instructional disruption
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies
