Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting eligibility determinations, initial evaluations, and re-evaluations
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and active participation in team meetings
  • Comfortable serving as part of risk and threat assessment teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite and partner with building staff

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and re-evaluations for K-5 students
  • Complete eligibility determinations and contribute to development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to ensure individualized student support
  • Serve as an active participant on school threat and risk assessment teams, providing expertise and recommendations
  • Offer ongoing consultation and support to teachers, support staff, and families in the school community
  • Foster a positive, inclusive climate that helps remove barriers to learning
