This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated School Psychologist looking to work with diverse learners ranging from early childhood to young adulthood for the upcoming school years. Both part-time and full-time schedules will be considered, with a strong preference for full-time availability.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403)
- Experience providing psychological services within a K-12 educational setting is preferred
- Strong skills in assessments, counseling, collaboration, and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students ages 3–21
- Support development of and participation in IEP eligibility determinations and meetings
- Provide direct and consultative counseling as well as behavioral interventions to students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Assist with school-wide and targeted student intervention plans, crisis support, and progress monitoring
- Facilitate data collection, interpretation, and reporting to support student success and compliance
