Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Utah or eligibility to obtain
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience in administering psychological and educational assessments
- Proficient in developing IEP goals and participating in eligibility determination meetings
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to special education
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school environment is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Offer consultative services for classroom management and instructional strategies
- Assist with behavioral intervention planning and implementation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all ESSA and IDEA requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on student support services
