Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Utah or eligibility to obtain
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Experience in administering psychological and educational assessments
• Proficient in developing IEP goals and participating in eligibility determination meetings
• Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to special education
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience in a school environment is highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify students’ academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
• Offer consultative services for classroom management and instructional strategies
• Assist with behavioral intervention planning and implementation
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all ESSA and IDEA requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on student support services
