You’ll provide essential counseling services to students during the Extended School Year (ESY) in June 2026, and we are seeking continued support into the regular academic year from August 2026 through June 2027. This role is well-suited for someone who excels at building relationships, thrives on meaningful collaboration, and values the importance of culturally responsive practice.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active psychologist licensure
- Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations for Special Education and Gifted eligibility
- Solid background in IEP development and familiarity with special education processes
- Organized and detail-oriented when managing evaluations, service logs, and compliance documentation
- Knowledge of or openness to work within the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) system is strongly preferred
- Comfortable contributing insights in IEP meetings and working collaboratively with school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver counseling services to students during ESY as well as the regular school year
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations for eligibility and gifted/talented determinations
- Maintain thorough service logs and compliance documentation
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and provide written and verbal recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address school-wide psychological needs
The position begins June 1, 2026, with ESY services once per week (~4 hours), then transitions to the school year with services needed 2–3 days weekly (~6 hours per day).
