Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist as required by the state
  • Experience in school-based psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Familiarity with IEP development, special education compliance, and multi-disciplinary team collaboration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
  • Participate in the development of IEPs and provide input to support individualized student learning plans
  • Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
  • Offer counseling and guidance for students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Support crisis intervention and response strategies as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
