Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Prior experience in an educational or school setting (elementary experience preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of special education evaluations and student counseling services
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work on-site, supporting students and staff in-person
- Efficient organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive special education evaluations, utilizing a range of assessment tools
- Interpret assessment results and participate in IEP meetings to develop appropriate student support plans
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students, promoting their social-emotional well-being and academic success
- Consult with teachers and families regarding intervention strategies and student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
