Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current certification/licensure as a school psychologist
  • Prior experience in an educational or school setting (elementary experience preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of special education evaluations and student counseling services
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work on-site, supporting students and staff in-person
  • Efficient organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive special education evaluations, utilizing a range of assessment tools
  • Interpret assessment results and participate in IEP meetings to develop appropriate student support plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students, promoting their social-emotional well-being and academic success
  • Consult with teachers and families regarding intervention strategies and student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive school environment
