Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (state license required)
- Experience with conducting initial IEPs, initial 504 plans, and re-evaluations
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and compliance
- Ability to lead or assist small group counseling sessions
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to engage with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Complete and document thorough initial IEP and 504 plan assessments
- Perform re-evaluations using appropriate strategies and standardized tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student plans
- Provide small group counseling support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communicate findings with educational partners
- Support positive outcomes through evidence-based interventions
- Consult with teachers and families to address student needs
