School Psychologist | Quincy, Massachusetts

Make a meaningful impact supporting K-5 students as a full-time School Psychologist working on a contract basis. Located near Quincy, MA, this engaging opportunity spans two welcoming elementary school campuses, offering variety and the chance to collaborate widely. With a 40-hour workweek and an immediate start date, you'll provide vital psychological services and help cultivate a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working with K-5 students preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload and travel between nearby elementary schools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
• Deliver counseling and intervention strategies for individuals and groups
• Support the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and provide input during meetings
• Work actively with multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and monitor intervention plans
• Assist in crisis prevention and intervention as needed
• Foster safe and welcoming learning environments that encourage emotional and academic growth
