Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to navigate both elementary, middle, and high school environments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
  • Interpret results and provide actionable insights for educational planning
  • Work with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being
  • Develop and recommend strategies for academic and behavior interventions
  • Maintain detailed, accurate student records and documentation in compliance with policies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere in diverse school communities
