Key Qualifications:
• Active and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina is required
• Experience working with K-12 students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Certification as a School Psychologist
• Strong skills in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Ability to interpret test results and provide recommendations for educational interventions
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with students, families, and staff
• Proven documentation and report-writing proficiency
Core Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in a K-12 setting
• Interpret assessment data and share findings with educational staff and parents
• Develop recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address students' learning and behavioral needs
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements related to school psychology
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
