Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist

  • Experience in psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations and effectively support a positive learning climate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for support services
  • Interpret assessment results to guide educational planning and intervention strategies
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop data-driven intervention plans
  • Support school-wide initiatives focused on crisis prevention, mental health awareness, and positive behavior support
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and confidential records of student progress and services provided
