Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Working knowledge of special education laws and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ unique learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, or emotional challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend strategies that support student success
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide emergency interventions as appropriate
  • Support a positive school climate through preventative programs and staff training
