Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and effectively support a positive learning climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for support services
- Interpret assessment results to guide educational planning and intervention strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop data-driven intervention plans
- Support school-wide initiatives focused on crisis prevention, mental health awareness, and positive behavior support
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and confidential records of student progress and services provided
