Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license in North Carolina (or eligibility)
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Experience providing psychological services within an educational setting, preferably with secondary grade levels
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and best practices for testing and evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and manage multiple tasks effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret assessments for psychoeducational evaluations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs, behavior plans, and interventions
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed to support student well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reports
