Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Certification and experience working in K-12 educational settings (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Deep understanding of child and adolescent development, learning differences, and mental health support strategies
  • Proven background conducting psychological evaluations, assessments, and interpreting test data
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical practices in all student-centered interactions

Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students identified as needing educational or behavioral support
  • Interpret data to develop recommendations for intervention plans and student accommodations
  • Collaborate with educational staff, administrators, and families to create and monitor individualized support strategies
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordinated student care
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
  • Contribute expertise to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all learners

This is a full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) serving a diverse K-12 caseload. Work within a collaborative team that values your input and dedication, while inspiring positive change in students’ lives.
