Elementary High School School Psychologist | Raleigh, North Carolina

Essential Qualifications:

• Active and current NC School Psychologist license (required)
• Certification to practice as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop support plans that foster student growth and achievement
• Deliver reports and participate in IEP meetings as a knowledgeable resource on student needs and progress
• Collaborate with staff to implement evidence-based strategies addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation aligned with district and state requirements
• Support crisis intervention and prevention programs and contribute to a positive school climate
