In this role, you'll earn between $55 and $65 an hour while utilizing your expertise to foster positive educational and emotional outcomes for young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist credential issued by the state of California
- Master’s or specialist degree in school psychology or a related field
- Previous experience evaluating and supporting students in TK-5, particularly in SDC and learning support settings
- Strong understanding of special education processes, assessment tools, and IEP development
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual educational and psychological assessments for students in a variety of classroom environments
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs
- Work closely with TK-5 staff to create intervention strategies and monitor progress
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and offer insights for student success
- Maintain accurate, confidential records consistent with district and state requirements
