Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting 5th and 6th-grade students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant, on-site educational setting near Reading, PA. Embrace a role that lets you make a tangible impact, working full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:50 PM, 37.5 hours per week) with a focus on student evaluations, consultation, and fostering strong relationships with educators and families. Take advantage of a manageable caseload, averaging 10 evaluations each month, and contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to student growth and success. This assignment is set to run through June 4, 2027, with pay ranging from $55.44 to $65.78 per hour.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification required
  • Previous experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments in a school setting
  • Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and SAP (Student Assistance Program) processes
  • Strong knowledge of 5th and 6th-grade developmental and academic needs
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills for reporting and consultation
  • Comfort working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, supporting both students and staff
  • Ability to maintain organized, accurate, and timely documentation per state and school requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational and other relevant student evaluations
  • Generate thorough evaluation reports and deliver findings to school teams and families
  • Consult with teachers on interventions supporting academic and social-emotional needs
  • Participate in MTSS and SAP meetings as part of a proactive support process
  • Offer evidence-based recommendations to enhance student success
  • Maintain compliance with documentation standards and best practices
  • Promote a positive, inclusive school culture focused on student well-being
