School Psychologist | Reading, Pennsylvania

The School Psychologist will provide student evaluations, teacher consultations, and participate in school-based support meetings, including MTSS and SAP meetings. This opportunity is ideal for a Pennsylvania-certified School Psychologist looking for a consistent Monday–Friday school schedule.

School Psychologist Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $55.44–$65.78 per hour
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:50 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 4, 2027
  • Grade Levels: 5th & 6th Grade
  • Caseload: Approximately 10 evaluations per month

School Psychologist Responsibilities

  • Conduct student psychoeducational and school-based evaluations
  • Complete evaluation documentation and reports
  • Consult with teachers regarding student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Participate in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings
  • Participate in SAP (Student Assistance Program) meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education professionals, and other school staff
  • Provide recommendations and interventions based on evaluation results
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records
  • Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development

Qualifications for a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania

  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educational Specialist Certificate, PK–12 (Code 1875), or appropriate Pennsylvania authorization to serve as a school psychologist
  • Required educational preparation for Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification
  • Required Pennsylvania certification testing, unless an applicable testing exception applies
  • Required school employment clearances and background checks
