A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced School Psychologist interested in making a meaningful impact in a K–12 educational environment. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to provide essential psychological and educational services to a vibrant student community, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2, 2027. Working 40 hours per week, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and success.
You will support a diverse caseload, including approximately 45 students receiving Special Education services and about 5 students with 504 plans. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of equitable learning environments and enhanced student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly student groups and deliver targeted support interventions
- Conduct annual IEP evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
- Perform 504 plan and initial Special Education evaluations
- Handle reevaluations (RRs) for Special Education students
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support strategies
- Maintain thorough, timely, and compliant documentation for all student assessments and services
- Champion psychological and academic support initiatives to uphold student success
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or appropriate credentials
- Experience supporting K–12 students, especially within Special Education and 504 evaluation processes
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Dedication to the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of each student
This position offers a rewarding daily schedule and a pay rate of $55.33–$62.75 per hour, reflecting the significant role School Psychologists play in fostering positive educational outcomes.
