Step into a dynamic educational setting focused on supporting the mental health and well-being of students through comprehensive psychological services. Two contract opportunities are available for professionals eager to make a positive impact throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. You'll collaborate directly with educators, administrators, and families to conduct assessments, design and implement intervention plans, and broaden your involvement beyond just testing by taking on a variety of other responsibilities within the school buildings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification required; candidates willing to obtain Michigan licensure promptly upon offer are encouraged to apply
  • Prefer experience in K-12 school environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment and intervention strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration abilities and desire to contribute to a positive school climate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support individualized learning needs
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in partnership with educators and families
  • Provide consultations, crisis support, and counseling for students as needed
  • Engage in a variety of proactive initiatives within assigned buildings—not limited to testing
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Facilitate training or informational sessions for staff and families to promote awareness of student mental health

Position Details:

  • Full in-person assignment for 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload split between 1–2 buildings within a supportive district team
  • Contract dates: August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027
