Here’s an excellent opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a significant impact in an educational setting. Step into a fulfilling, part-time role serving PreK-12th grade students, where you'll contribute your expertise on a contract basis for 2-3 days per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold current Michigan School Psychologist Certification
  • Experience working within PreK-12th grade settings is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation protocols and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Effective collaborator, able to partner with teachers and staff
  • Skilled in conducting psychological and behavioral assessments
  • Comfortable providing mental health counseling and behavior intervention support as needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students across grade levels
  • Collaborate closely with educators to support classroom management and student learning outcomes
  • Assist with MTSS implementation and interventions, helping to identify and support students in need
  • Provide behavioral support strategies tailored to individual and group needs
  • Deliver mental health counseling to students when appropriate, fostering social-emotional well-being
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential student records and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work with multidisciplinary teams
